Domaine Danjou–Banessy – Benoît Danjou – Espira de l'Agly
Heir of a long dynasty of Catalan winemakers specialised in the vinification of sweet wines and dry Rancios, Benoît takes up the reins of the estate in 2001 and decides to enlarge the palette to dry wines. The vineyard, about 40 acres, is located around the village of Espira de l’Agly. It is not Bio certified but pesticides and other systemic products are banned, which is the most important. Biodynamic methods and vinfication without input, of course.
